Hello world!

Hi, I’m Rimvydas. I work across DevOps, cloud architecture, and software engineering, usually where systems design meets day-to-day delivery. I enjoy building reliable platforms, improving developer workflows, and turning infrastructure problems into practical, repeatable solutions.

I started this blog as a working journal. My goal is to share what I’m learning while building real systems: the challenges, the tradeoffs, the mistakes, and the occasional wins. Some posts will be technical deep dives, some will be quick notes from experiments, and some will simply capture lessons learned the hard way.

You can expect topics like Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability, cloud cost and performance decisions, and engineering leadership in fast-moving teams. I’m especially interested in the parts that look simple in diagrams but become complicated in production.

I also want this space to stay fun. I’ll share side projects, tools I actually use, patterns that surprised me, and ideas I’m testing in the wild. If a post helps you avoid a pitfall or gives you a better way to approach a problem, then it has done its job.

Thanks for reading and welcome.
